Vingroup has partnered with Qualcomm to launched Vsmart Bee Lite the cheapest 4G smartphone in the world priced at only VND 600,000 ($26/~Rs. 1,920) in Vietnam. The phone is currently available for Vietnam’s state-run carrier Viettel only that Viettel’s ‘1 for 1 upgrade’ and ‘switch for 101 days’ programs to push 4G among 2G and 3G handset users in Vietnam
The Vsmart Bee Lite offers similar specifications as any other entry-level smartphone that has a 5.45-inch FWVGA LCD screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 480 x 960 pixels resolution display with thick bezels all around the screen that houses a 2MP selfie camera for video calling and a 5MP main camera on the back of the device.
It comes in powered with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 chipset coupled with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card.
It also offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microUSB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. It comes in with Android 10 Go Edition running out-of-the-box and is powered with a 2,250 mAh battery.
It will be available in two Black andGreen color options with 18 months warranty.
