Ripple is continuously launching varieties of laptops in the Nepali market. They recently launched the Artifact and Artifact pro as gaming laptops, now the company launched its first ultrabooks in Nepal –the Ripple Pandora. I was literally shocked when I saw its price. Here, Ripple Pandora packs a 15.6-inch anti-glare display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It uses an IPS LCD technology which is normal in budget laptops. It has quite minimal bezels around the display that give a modern look.
The laptop measures 361 x 258 x 24.9 mm (W x D x H). It comes with a full-size backlit keyboard with a dedicated numeric keypad. You can choose between 23 different color options. It features a Microsoft precision touchpad with multi-gesture, scroll function, and integrated left/right keys.
Performance and Memory
Moving on, the Ripple Pandora is powered by Intel’s Tiger Lake Core i7-1165G7 process that lacks a discrete GPU. However, it has a dedicated Intel Iris Xe GPU for handling the graphics.
You get 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM which can be extended up to 64GB through the two available SO-DIMM slots. On the base variant, you get 256GB M.2 SSD. For expanding the storage, there is a 2.5-inch SATA slot where you insert either SDD (Solid State Drive) or HDD (Hard Disk Drive).
Taking about the battery, it has a 51 Watt-hour battery that gives decent battery backup. On the software front, it runs on Genuine Windows 10.
